Dr. Michael Scantlebury is originally from the twin-island republic of Trinidad & Tobago Now a Canadian citizen, he resides in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada with his family. He and his wife Sandra have two daughters and one son.

Apostle Scantlebury received Jesus as Saviour and Lord in November 1979, and was called into the ministry several months later. He initially received three years of intensive training at his home church, Church of God (an affiliate of the Assemblies of God), after which he functioned as the Associate Pastor of Ekklesia Teaching Centre. In 1992, God shifted Apostle Scantlebury to another local church, Elijah Centre, where he functioned as part of the leadership in several capacities, including Pastoral Minister with direct responsibility for the men, young converts, cell groups, and the planting of other churches. As Apostle Scantlebury was being equipped, the Holy Spirit brought him into the revelation of the significance of the restoration of the five-fold ministry to the Body of Christ. Apostle Scantlebury and his family were called to Canada in 1997, where he now functions as the Senior Elder of Dominion-Life International Ministries - a young, multi-ethnic, vibrant and growing local Body of Believers.

Apostle Scantlebury has made several radio and television appearances. He also travels and ministers in the Caribbean, South America, North America, Asia, Africa and Europe. Apostle Scantlebury has authored several books, which includes a trilogy on the Apostolic - “Five Pillars of The Apostolic”, “Apostolic Purity”, and “Apostolic Reformation”. He has also written “Kingdom Advancing Prayer Volumes I-III” and “Identifying and Defeating the Jezebel Spirit”, along with several other books. Apostle Scantlebury ministers out of a strong Apostolic/Prophetic anointing, and has a tremendous desire to see the Church come to full maturity and unity for greater function in the earth.

Apostle Michael Scantlebury has given himself to the preaching and teaching of the gospel of the Kingdom, based on the integrity of God's Word and a Spirit-filled life.
